Historic wildfires across Los Angeles County this week have destroyed more than 2,000 structures, killed at least five people and left countless residents grieving. Given the fabric of the community in and around Los Angeles, celebrities are among those facing loss.
In one of the most destructive firestorms to hit the region in recent days, fires caused by worse-than-normal “life-threatening and destructive” winds raged across the Pacific Palisades and Hollywood Hills, causing at least 130,000 Angelenos fled for safety. And Altadena.
“We’re not out of the woods yet,” Los Angeles Fire Department Chief Christine Crowley said Wednesday.

In one of the most talked-about celebrity interviews amid a series of fires in the news, the “Police Academy” star told a KTLA reporter Tuesday that the fire was left at Sunset Boulevard and Palisades Drive in the neighborhood to make way for the fire.
