First on FOX: The new House GOP bill would lose federal funds if sanctuary cities like Los Angeles refuse to comply with federal immigration authorities.

“So there have been too many cases of people in this country where we have seen someone lose their lives at the hands of people who are illegal,” Rn.Y. MP Nick Langworthy told Fox News Digital.

“These sanctuary cities have been in the way for too long to ignore federal law. And it’s time to get serious and we put our teeth on things.”

He introduces the Stop Danger Sanctuary City Act on Tuesday. FoxNews Digital is the first learning and has a Senate fellow bill introduced by Senator Ted Cruz of R-Texas.

The bill allows administrative agencies to withhold federal funds from states, cities, or other regions that refuse to comply with Immigration Customs Enforcement (ICE).

At a more detailed level, state and local officers empower federal authorities to work with federal authorities, even if otherwise required to have laws within the jurisdiction of the business.

California Ltd. The governor says the Los Angeles riots were “generated by Donald Trump.”

Langworthy said the regulations are important to the district officers that were anchored by his buffalo. New York’s Greenlight Act, he explained, allowed illegal immigrants to obtain driver’s licenses and prevented them from sharing state DMV records with federal authorities.

“When I met the ice earlier this year, it really caught my attention and I met with agents from the Buffalo Customs and Border Patrol during the Biden administration. They said this was the biggest obstacle they have to do their job,” Langworthy said.

Due to the traffic stop, he said, “I think they know who is in the car, but they can’t run the tag because it’s a New York tag, and they are taking their lives in their hands with all the demands of anxiety.”

The push to repay sanctuary jurisdiction comes after weekend violence on the other side of the country where Los Angeles rioters clashed with federal authorities over an ice attack in the Blue Fortress city.

Democrat officials criticized President Donald Trump for sending the National Guard over Gov. Gavin Newsom’s opposition, but Republicans denounced those progressive leaders for doing little to help federal authorities amid the protest.

Langworthy said he hopes the violence will remain in Los Angeles and that political tensions will not head towards liberal New York City.

“I think the President set the tone very early on. This is not tolerated. We will federate the National Guard and maintain law and order on the streets of our country,” he said. “Hopefully it’s heard loudly and clearly across the country by people who seem to bring anxiety on our streets and disrupt civil society.”
