Authorities say Los Angeles police shot and killed a woman on Friday and were hospitalized after allegedly charged against officers while armed with a knife.
The incident began around 9:40am, and the Los Angeles Police Department received reports that a woman, later identified as Linda Betera Moran, was “forced to stay” at the motel against her will. Ta.
When officers arrived at the motel in the 10,000 block of San Fernando Road in Pacoima, they found Moran in their room. The officer spoke to Moran as part of an investigation into allegations of the invitation.

Police said she was armed with a knife and grabbed it around her neck. The officers returned to the doorway of the motel room and ordered her to drop the knife.
At that point, she “advanced” to the officers, police said, and at least one officer fired.
Moran was hit in at least one round and fell on the bed in the room and dropped the knife. Police said she was taken into custody and taken to a local hospital.
Her condition as of Saturday has not been revealed. It is not clear whether her injuries are life-threatening.
