On Friday, in the Lake View Terrace district, water flows into the neighborhood area due to the broken underground water pipe, causing damage to the huts and other buildings on the premises of animals.
The water flowed on the road and passed in front of the house. Among them, there was a house near the West Foothill Boolbird 10300 blocks near Freeway Route 210, including a crowd of goats that seemed to be embarrassed on a new river flowing beside the enclosure.
The sidewalk was bent with the momentum of water, damaging Martin Hernandez’s property.
“Everything in the house and the garage was completely flooded,” Hernandes said. “And we were surprised. I heard a really terrible loud noise.”
According to Hernandez, water leaks lasted for about an hour.
The wall of the row collapsed due to the pressure of the accumulated water. The horse fled to the nearby highway entrance lamp, but later was enclosed and returned to a safe place. One goat fled to a nearby parking lot.
Hernandez said that horses and goats are back home and are doing well.
The water supply was stopped on Friday afternoon. Friends appeared with sandbags to reinforce Hernandez’s property.
