The funeral will be held Thursday for Baldwin Park police officer Samuel Riveros.
“With love and gratitude, Baldwin Park Police Station hopes to share details of Officer Samuel Liberos’ upcoming funeral,” the Baldwin Park Police Station said in a Facebook post.
Services that are generally closed will begin at 10am in Ontario.
The police department requested that flower delivery be sent directly to Toyota Arena at 4000 East Ontario Center Parkway, 91764, East Ontario Center Parkway, Ontario, California.

Delivery will be accepted until 9am on the day of service.
“We are grateful for the love, support and prayer pouring from our community, our blue brothers and sisters. We respect the memory of Officer Liberos, so thank you for standing with us,” the post reads.
Baldwin Park officials remembered a kind gesture to the Freeman family
Riveros, 35, was fatally shot on May 31 while engaged to a man firing a rifle in a neighbourhood in the near 4200 block of Filhurst Avenue.
He is survived by his parents, siblings, nie and nephew.
“Our mind is with his family and friends during these difficult times,” the police department said.
