A San Bernardino County man has been arrested for abuse of an elderly person and destroying multiple homes.
The SB County Sheriff’s Department said in a news release Monday in the 18,300 block of Valley Boulevard in Bloomington before 10am Saturday.
The caller said the suspect, later identified as 53-year-old Ubardo Gonzalez Romero, was using unknown objects to break the window.
Assembly members arrived, confirmed that several homes had broken windows.
Investigators said one of the two victims, both ages 65 and above, was previously targeted by Romero.
“In 2023, Romero burned his residence and was charged in that case,” the Sheriff’s Office said.
Romero was arrested and booked for alleged vandalism and elder abuse. He was detained on $30,000 bail.
