The man was arrested for allegedly committing indecent behavior near a high school in Riverside.
In January 2025, Riverside police began an investigation after receiving reports of several men engaged in obscene behavior in a car parked next to Abraham Lincoln High School.
At least three female witnesses reported seeing a man masturbate while he was sitting inside a black Mercedes-Benz C300 sedan, police said.
Investigators later identified the suspect as Francis Ledesma Castillo, 37, of Garden Groves. On May 1, Castillo was assigned to a Garden Grove officer, where he was taken into custody.
While providing a search warrant at home, police found several unregistered firearms, including illegally manufactured AR-style rifles, along with ammunition that penetrates the armor.
Castillo has been arrested on multiple charges including annoying and abusive children, indecent exposure and various weapons violations.

Investigators released Castillo’s booked photos and images of his car while searching for more casualties.
“I believe Ledesma Castillo has committed similar thread acts in Black Mercedes-Benz, which are located near many other schools in Riverside and Orange County over the past year,” said Riverside Police Captain Chad Mirby. “There could be additional casualties that haven’t made any progress yet.”
