A Southern California man has been arrested on suspicion of operating a brothel out of a massage parlor in Riverside County.
The suspect was identified as Highway Donkersgaard, 58, of Victorville, according to the Riverside County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies initially received information about a “possible illegal massage parlor” operating in the 45000 block of San Pablo Avenue in Palm Desert.
On November 26, a search warrant was served at the store where evidence leading to Donkersgaard’s arrest was found, authorities said.
Two women were also found at the scene and confirmed to be possible victims of human trafficking.
Donkersgaard was arrested on suspicion of operating a brothel and booked into the John Benoit Detention Center, officials said.

The incident is still under investigation and no further details have been released.
“The Riverside County Human Trafficking Task Force seeks to disrupt and dismantle sex trafficking organizations operating within Riverside County, and aggressively identifies and pursues those who exploit our most vulnerable populations. , arrest,” the deputies said.
