A Southern California man was booked for an attempted murder after being accused of firing a weapon and injuring an unknown woman in the highlands.
Police said the shooting victim and another woman left a strip mall on Foothill Boulevard and Grove Avenue around 2am on April 26th, and the man left the car out of the parking lot and approached the car.
The armed man then fired his gun into the air, pointing it at the woman, before firing several rounds.
The other woman in the car was unharmed.
At about 2am on April 26, two adult women left their business in the Foothill Blvd and Grove Ave areas, driving through the parking lot and towards the exit.

After the suspicious shooter escaped, police set boundaries and began tying evidence before identifying the suspect.
“Little of knowing that his actions summoned the attention of those who had made careers identifying and finding criminals,” police said on social media.
The suspect’s gunman was arrested in Burstow with the help of a California Highway Patrol officer and the gun was recovered from his car.
Police have collected additional evidence from the home of the suspect in Santa Ana, officials added.
