Police are investigating after a man was found shot to death in Orange County.
On Jan. 2, Santa Ana Police responded to a report of a shooting in an alley in the 1400 block of South Standard Avenue around 7:40 p.m.
Arriving officers found a man lying unresponsive on the ground, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The victim was identified as Gerson Ramirez, 38, of Santa Ana. No suspects were found at the scene, and the circumstances of the man’s death remain unknown.
“Detectives are attempting to identify and locate additional witnesses who may be able to provide information regarding the homicide,” police said.
