A man was arrested with thousands of dollars worth of stolen Apple products at an Orange County shopping mall.
Irvine police identified the suspect as Malcolm Walker, 30, of Illinois.
Authorities said Walker went to the Apple Store at Spectrum Center Mall, picked up about $1,200 worth of merchandise, and placed the items in an Apple shopping bag he had brought with him.
Police were called to the scene, and the store’s loss prevention personnel took the man into custody.
During a search of the suspect’s vehicle, police discovered an additional $5,000 worth of stolen Apple products, including 15 wireless keyboards and three Pencil Pros.
Authorities said the items were stolen from Apple Stores across Southern California.
