Police are looking for a driver who killed a man in the Hit and Rank Rush in South Los Angeles.
The clash occurred on February 24th as a victim, identified only as a man in the 60s, was crossing roads around Vermont Vista.
Surveillance footage released by the Los Angeles Police Department shows a man pushing what appears to be a pedestrian or a small cart as he crosses Figueroa Street near 104th around 7pm.

There were no crosswalks in this area. As the vehicle passes, he pauses in the middle of the road. The suspect was waiting for a left turn from 104th, but moved forward and crashed into a pedestrian.
The impact caused the man to fly into the hood of the vehicle before he could fall to the ground. The suspect continued driving and did not stop to check on the victim.
Paramedics at the LA Fire Station carried the man to a local hospital where he died of his injuries. His name is withheld on the next pending notice of the immediate family.
The suspicious vehicle was described as a white compact sedan only.
“A driver will remember that if they are involved in a collision, they will need to be safe, notify emergency services and stop immediately if they continue to stay on the scene to identify themselves,” LAPD said.
Anyone who provides information that leads to suspect identification, anxiety and convictions can benefit from a reward of up to $25,000.
