A man barricaded himself in a Malibu home Friday afternoon after allegedly firing shots at Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department officers.
Deputies had responded to an earlier report of multiple gunshots being heard in the 22000 block of Carbon Mesa Road around 1:50 p.m.
A LASD spokesperson said the suspect fired shots at deputies and then barricaded himself inside the home.
No deputies were injured, officials said.

The Sheriff’s Office SWAT team was called to the scene to assist with ongoing law enforcement operations.
Video from Sky5 showed a large police presence along Carbon Mesa Road, which was closed to traffic.
Neighboring residents were urged to stay indoors with their windows and doors locked while police attempted to bring the incident to a peaceful conclusion.
