Los Angeles Police Department investigators are investigating the circumstances surrounding a deadly shooting that occurred early Saturday morning at a smoking area in downtown Los Angeles.
According to preliminary information later confirmed by a Los Angeles Police Department spokesperson, Central Station officers received multiple reports of shots fired in the area of Sixth Avenue and Wall Street around 12:50 a.m.

When authorities arrived on scene, they found a male victim on the floor of Cloud Smoke Shop with at least one gunshot wound.
He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Information about his identity was not immediately available.
A Los Angeles Police Department spokesperson told KTLA that officers received reports of additional gunshot wounds at 5th Street and San Pedro Avenue, two blocks northeast of the initial shooting scene, but were unable to locate the victim. I admitted that there wasn’t.
Police did not say whether the suspect involved in the shooting was taken into custody.
