The second half of the Sunday Night Academy Awards featured several segments honoring the actor, filmmaker and Hollywood heavyweights who passed away last year. There was also the annual memos segment in tribute to icons such as Bob Newhart, David Lynch and James Earl Jones.
However, as almost always, the lack of some famous faces from the monument, their fans quickly noticed.
Among the less respected actors when aired on the Memoam segment was Michel Trutchenberg (Harriet the Spy, 17th), who only passed away last week at the age of 39.

“It is incorrect that Michel Tratchenberg was excluded from memory with #OSCARS.” Written by one X user, It reflects the feelings of other fans. Oscars representatives were also unable to immediately comment on how to put together names that will appear in the ceremony, either for this year’s memos segment exclusion.
However, the academy contains a long list of actors, artists and filmmakers who have recently passed away on oscars.org. All of the above actors and filmmakers are listed among those who appeared in the on-screen segment.
