Metro has announced several detours and bus and rail service suspensions due to fires in Los Angeles County.
Due to road closures, detours have been ordered for the following routes:
Route 106 and Route 655 buses are detouring from Wabash Avenue and using Marengo Street between Soto Street and City Terrace Drive due to downed power lines. Buses on routes 180 and 217 are being detoured between Los Feliz Boulevard and San Fernando Avenue and between Vermont Avenue and Prospect Avenue due to downed power lines. Route 260 buses are being detoured to Long Beach Boulevard between Artesia Boulevard and Alondra Boulevard due to downed trees and power lines. Buses bound for Griffith Park on Route 296 will be detoured to the Golden State (5) Freeway between Los Feliz Boulevard and Western Avenue.
Metro has suspended service on the following bus routes due to fire activity.
Buses 224 and 690 do not operate north of Bledsoe Street. Sylmar’s 235 and 236 buses do not operate north of Rinaldi Street. Altadena’s 267, 660, and 662 buses do not operate north of Orange Grove Boulevard in Pasadena and Altadena.
Metro Microservice north of Washington and Sierra Madre Boulevard and west of Highway 210 in Pasadena and Altadena is canceled.
The Department of Transportation reports that all rail lines are operating normally except for the A Line, which runs from Long Beach to Azusa.
The A Line operates normally between Southwest Museum Station and Downtown Long Beach Station, and between Fillmore Station and APU/Citrus College Station.
Metro said the line between Southwest Museum Station and Fillmore Station has been replaced by buses due to wind damage to overhead lines, and service will continue until debris and trees are removed and repairs are completed. About.
