The middle city couple is tired of them and worry about their safety after their homes targeted for robbers within a year.
Dan Sutton and Linda Wang weigh their options following the latest robbery attempts recently shot on surveillance footage. This is the third time a thief has targeted a home since January last year.
“If we’re being targeted over and over again, that’s a bit scary,” the king said.
The couple has added security measures such as property and fences around the camera, but thieves are not prevented from picking them at home.
“I just want to keep my wife and dog safe, and it’s just that, so I don’t want to watch camera bait all day because it’s insane,” Sutton said.
The recent invasion occurred just a few days ago when a group of three masked individuals dressed in an all-black were creeped up into the couple’s property and captured.
“On Tuesday, I was working, and at about 5:29, I was in a meeting, and suddenly I saw the camera alert go out,” Wang said.
She speaks directly to the thief via a speaker and orders them to leave her property. She said she called the police, but the robbery was gradual and proceeded towards their back door.
“We had these security screens around our facility, in the windows, so they couldn’t get in,” Wang said.
Unlike before, the group had no access to the couple’s home, so they took off in stolen vehicles. Police painted the gun and arrived within six minutes.
The investigation is underway.
