Authorities said Friday that they were still looking for one of four people connected to the lunatic due to a ransom plot in which a Southern California clinic worker and a boy were seriously injured.
The incident took place on June 10 at a marijuana clinic in Arrowroot, the 13600 block of Fontana, around 10:30pm.
The San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Office has taken part in a business where three male suspects target adult employees, but they end up luring relatives of the victim’s juvenile.
For some reason, the boy was able to escape from the moving vehicle, but was required to be hospitalized due to serious injuries sustained during the trial.

“The adult victim was taken to a remote location in the San Bernardino National Forest near Cajon Pass, where the pistol was beaten until ransom was paid,” the Sheriff’s Office said.
An unidentified adult victim was also hospitalized with serious injuries, authorities said.
Investigators identified three men, 25-year-old Eric Garcia Hernandez, 22-year-old David Colton, and 23-year-old Agustin Lopez Garcia, as suspected of luring and assaulting, and 26-year-old Ashley Lopez Cedano as a criminal accessory.
Garcia Hernandez, Colton and Lopez Cedano have been arrested and remained in custody. The Sheriff’s Office said the felony warrant is believed to have fled to Lopez Garcia.
Investigators believe the suspect, who lives in the Muscoy area of San Bernardino, is responsible for other ransom lures.
Anyone who may have been victimized by the suspect was urged to contact Fontana Sheriff’s Station on 909-356-6710. Callers who want to remain anonymous should contact We-Tip at 800-782-7463.
