Kilmer Abrego Garcia, a member of the Maryland suspected MS-13 gang, is on trial in a famous criminal case, and three more MS-13 members of the state are being charged with conspiracy to assault, including murder and drug trafficking.
Commenting on the charges, deputy Attorney General Matthew Galeotti said the man’s actions “spurred the governance of MS-13 horrors across the Maryland community.”
Accusations filed against Salvador citizens of Maryland – Maxwell Ariel Killanokasco, 24, Daniel Isayas Villnueva Bautista, 19, Joss Emmauricio Rains, 21, of Hyattville, Maryland, was announced Wednesday at the Department of Justice.
The three men allegedly killed a homeless man as part of their involvement in MS-13, according to the statement. The DOJ said the three allegedly killed the man in a “retaliation murder” on July 4, 2024.
The victim was found dead the following day in a blue Dodge Caravan parked in a used car in Hyattville.
Abrego Garcia remains among us for now as the judge files a lawsuit under advice.

The department said nearby surveillance cameras captured the murder on video. According to the statement, the video shows the victim swinging around what appears to be a pole from Kijano Casco, then fleeing and returning with Villanueva Bautista, Reigns and another unknown person. Four appear to approach the blue van where the victim has escaped, open the door and attack someone inside.
Police arrived at the scene the next day and found the victim, who appeared to have been stabbed in the neck.
Fox News Digital contacted the DOJ, FBI and Prince George county police to request a review of the video. Neither agency responded immediately to Fox News Digital’s request.
According to the DOJ, Quijano-Casco and Villanueva-Bautista were arrested by Prince George’s county police on August 23rd. Quijano-Casco was found on his arrest with a semi-automatic handgun and about 8 grams of cocaine. Both admitted that they were there due to an argument in which the victim was murdered and that Kijano Casco was allegedly allowed the police to stab the individual.

The three are charged with conspiracy to assault, including the July 4, 2024 murder. If convicted, they face a lively sentence in prison.
In a statement, Galeotti, from the DOJ’s criminal division, said “meaningless murder” was committed “in exchange for promotions for gangs and drugs.”
“Their actions promoted the odd governance of MS-13 across the Maryland community,” Galeotti said.
A US lawyer for the Maryland area Kelly Hayes area called “cruel retaliation murder” a “dreadful reminder of the merciless neglect of human life in the MS-13 gang” a murder.
She said her office will work with law enforcement to dismantle criminal organizations such as MS-13 that “terrorize our community.”

This led to another Salvadoran national, Abrego Garcia, 29, who lived in Maryland, facing allegations of human smuggling and conspiracy.

According to the indictment, Abrego Garcia played a “significant role” in a human smuggling ring that has been operating for nearly a decade. Attorney General Pam Bondy described him as a full-time smuggler who traveled over 100 times and transported women, children and people belonging to the MS-13 gang throughout the United States.
Abrego Garcia was arrested in Hyattsville in October 2019, according to police and court records shared with Fox News Digital. At that point he was identified as a member of the MS-13 by Prince George’s County Police Gang Unit.
