In just a week this month, ICE and several federal law enforcement agencies have arrested more than 200 illegal aliens in “enhanced immigration enforcement work” in and around “most crime-affected neighborhoods” in New York City and its surrounding area.
According to an ICE statement released Wednesday of 206 illegal immigrants, most of them have a malicious criminal history, including “manslaughter, rape, assault, drug trafficking and sexual assault on minors.”” was arrested as part of the operation.
The work took place between April 6 and 12th throughout New York City and Long Island and the Lower Hudson Valley area.
According to an ICE statement, the agency and partners targeted “bad criminal foreign criminal offenders,” including recently designated international terrorist organisations MS-13, Tren de Aragua, and cross-border criminal organizations such as violent certainty and gangs on 18th Avenue.

The agency said many of the arrests were made after New York local government refused to respect immigrant detainees filed by ICE and instead brought illegals back into the community.
Of the 206 people arrested, ICE said 121 have been found primary criminal convictions or are currently facing charges of murder, assault, arson, sex crimes, drug crimes and firearm crimes.
Among those arrested is a 58-year-old Mexican citizen named Adnan Paulino Flores.
Another 51-year-old illegal from Ecuador, named Jaime Gustavo Quizpi Romero, has a criminal history including arrests for assault with intent to cause physical damage from weapons and equipment and strangles, which interferes with breathing and blood circulation, causing serious injuries.

Luis Olmedo Quishpi-Poalasin (another illegal Ecuadorian named Luis Olmedo Quishpi-Poalasin, 35 years old) has an even longer criminal history, including preventing rape, sexual abuse, convictions for illegal imprisonment, fear of injuries, and testimony by communicating threats via telephone, computer or email.
The operation also led to the arrest of edimar Alejandra Colmenares Mendoza, an illegal 22-year-old Venezuelan, a member of the Tren de Aragua gang.

Tren de Aragua – also known as “TDA” – is a violent criminal organization that has unleashed terrorist activities across the United States and is linked to several well-known crimes, including the murder of Georgia nursing student Laken Riley and the seizing of an apartment building in Aurora, Colorado.
The charges against Cormenares Mendoza include conspiracy, theft and possession of stolen property.

New York City Mayor Eric Adams, a Democrat running for reelection as an independent, appears to support the arrest of ICE’s crime offences, told Fox News that he is making mistakes by deviating from the majority of New Yorkers’ sentiment that the left should take illegal criminals and gang members on the streets.
“One of the big mistakes being made in parts of the left and right philosophy is that ICE is a criminal organization. They are not. They are part of our law enforcement community,” he added, adding, “We have to get bad and dangerous people on the streets.”
New York City enforcement and removal operations Judith Almodovar, director of field offices, commented on the arrests, saying, “The success of this enhanced operation underscores the determination that ice and federal partners will remain safe from violent criminals.”

Acting Ice Director Todd Lyons added: “New York is much safer today because of Ice’s hard work and our law enforcement partners.”
“Through this enhanced enforcement project, we have targeted the most dangerous alien criminals in some of the most crime-detected areas in and around New York City,” Lions said. “ICE is dedicated to our mission to prioritize public safety by arresting and eliminating illegal foreign criminals from the community of this great country.”
