Detectives are looking for additional victims after a man accused of sexual assault in West Los Angeles is released in bonding.
According to the LA Police Department case, 42-year-old Jean Junior Dar, released Wednesday, is also known as Jean-Que or “Que.”
One victim, a 24-year-old man, told police in January 2025 that DAR threw drugs on him and assaulted him. Detectives began investigating the reports and discovered that in their mid-20s, two other men had similar experiences to DAR.
“In each case, the victim said they met the suspect at a bar, where he had a conversation before inviting them to an afterparty,” LAPD elaborated. “The suspect then drove the victim to his residence near Marina del Rey where he was given a drink. After consuming the drink, the victim was neutralised and the suspect reported that he had committed sexual activity without consent.”

The detective arrested DAR on May 21 and booked him for the following violations: foreign objects penetration against drunk people and oral mating with drunk people. Authorities later presented the case to the LA County District Attorney’s Office, and later filed multiple felony charges of sexual assault.
However, DAR subsequently posted the bonds and was released from custody as of August 13th.
LAPD said detectives believe there may be additional victims who have not yet made progress and provided photos of the DAR to assist with identification.
