A total of six people were shot dead in Moreno Valley overnight, with five casualties in crisis, officials said.
Riverside County Sheriff’s Department spokesperson Wenndy Brito-Gonzalez confirmed to KTLA that multiple calls regarding the shots that were fired came out in the 12,100 block of Orchid Lane Saturday night before 11pm.
The area where the shooting was reported is a small residential area near the intersection of Perris Boulevard and Hemlock Avenue.
Sergeant. Brito-Gonzalez said when deputies arrived at the scene they found five injured victims “conforming to the shooting.”

“The victims received medical assistance until paramedics arrived, then transported them to a local hospital in danger,” Sgt. Brito Gonzalez said.
The sixth victim was transported to a local hospital and decided to lead to the same incident, sergeant. Brito Gonzalez explained in detail.
As of early Sunday morning, no arrests had been made in connection with the shooting.
