The Wild Rollover Crash damaged four Orange County Sheriff’s Divisional Units early Monday morning.
Preliminary information shows a crash occurred around 2:15am at the intersection of Orangewood Avenue and Beach Boulevard in Stanton.
The first responders, including firefighters, were reportedly at the scene where they were handling a car fire at a shell gas station when the crash occurred.

Video from the scene shows a Nissan Ultima sedan on the side sandwiched between two patrol vehicles. Further footage shows that the sedan also hit the pole, causing damage to the water pipes.
The sheriff’s director told KTLA 5’s Erin Myers that four OCSD vehicles were damaged, detailing that they were within inches of several deputies’ hits.

According to eyewitness Kevin Lee, the Nissan sedan was driving at high speed and hit a patrol vehicle parked just outside the gas station.
“Altima was flying over the beach, jumping over the curb next to it and landing between the two police vehicles,” Lee said. “It jumped up pretty high.”

At least one person believed to be an Altima driver was seen on an ambulance stretcher, with another individual seen lying near one of the pumps at a gas station.
The injury was not immediately reported to deputies or firefighters.
The scene was cleared by 6am, but investigators were still blocking the area after more than an hour due to damaged poles and water pipes.
Officials with the OCSD said the California Highway Patrol will handle the crash investigation. It remains unclear whether Ultima drivers will face fees.
