The detective is trying to piece together what happened in the murders of the three. This includes two men who were fatally shot in a truck on Sunday afternoon along with a trailer found in a remote northeastern Antelope Valley.
The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department received a Shotfried call around 4:45pm in the area of 215th Street East between East Avenue Q and East Palmdale Boulevard.
“When Lancaster’s agent arrived at the scene, they found an adult female in her 40s suffering from a gunshot wound to the vehicle,” said DeJohn during the statement.
Deputies gave the woman assistance, but she was later declared dead at the scene by LA County Fire Department officials.
“At the same time, deputies found an SUV where a trailer was attached and found two men suffering from gunshot wounds. They were also declared dead at the scene,” DeJohn said.

The identity of the victim has not been revealed.
It was unclear when the shooting occurred and how many suspects were involved.
“If anyone knows what happened here, we’re looking for the help of the people,” DeJohn said.

Last year, six people were shot to death in the El Mirage area not far away. Investigators believe the murders stem from a conflict over illegal marijuana.
There was no word on the possible motives for the Sunday night murder.
