The Los Angeles Clippers are also likely to be active in free agency, with point guard James Harden declined last year’s contract to re-sign with the Clippers in a two-year, $81.5 million deal.
Both teams will need to negotiate the complexity of the more restrictive pay restrictions that came into effect before the 2023-24 NBA season.
According to ESPN, the league-wide moves are expected to include former Lakers and Clippers players, including Jordan Clarkson, who negotiated the takeover of the player with the Utah Jazz, and Jordan Clarkson, who negotiated Dangelo Russell.
