Evacuated by a wildfire in Los Angeles, the adoption has found a new lease in life more than 3,000 miles away.
Boston’s Animal Rescue League has spent several days acclimating to new snowy environments, with “West Coast puppies” travelling over 3,000 miles on planes and over 600 miles on “Transport Waggin” I posted that.
“These LA transplants have settled down for the past few days, received medical and behavioral evaluations, and of course enjoy our fantastic winter weather,” the Boston Animal Rescue League said.

Each dog can be used for adoption at LA Animal Shelter before the wildfire breaks out, rescue agencies said, making it available only to New England residents.
In a later social media post, officials from the Boston Rescue League said that the two pets brought to Beantown – Patrick (renamed Haku) and a dog named Olivia already welcomed to their new home He said that it was being done.
