Something like an invasion of bagels on the East Coast is about to attack Southern California.
Originally launched as a window for backyard bagel pickups amid the pandemic, Pop-up Bagels have brick-and-mortar stores in New York, Massachusetts and Connecticut, and have announced plans to open 35 locations in this part of the Golden State, according to multiple media reports.
The company reportedly signed a contract with a supporter who plans to bring 25 bagel hotspots to LA and Orange County and another 10 to San Diego County later this year, Global Newswire reported.

With the motto of “grip, lip, dip,” the chain focus is intended to be made in-house, served in many varieties and soaked in spreads like leek cream cheese, original cream cheese, cream cheese and butter.
The still hot bagels come in three, six and a dozen sets, with three and one spread currently being clocked at $13.00.
According to its website, the “unknown but known” bagel company has won the “Best Bagel” for the second consecutive year at Brooklyn Beg Farxest.
“California has become very suspicious,” the company posted on Instagram.
