San Francisco 49ers defensive end Nick Bosa could be fined by the NFL for wearing a “Make America Great Again” hat on the field and pointing out a Donald Trump slogan on national television The camera doesn’t seem to be worried about sex at all.

Speaking to reporters on Wednesday, the day after Trump defeated Democratic presidential opponent Kamala Harris, Bosa said he would not be fined for his actions during the Oct. 27 broadcast of “Sunday Night Football.” He said he had not been punished.

“But if it’s coming, it’s coming,” Botha said.

After the 49ers’ 30-24 win over the Dallas Cowboys, Bosa appeared on NBC sideline reporter Melissa Stark’s game against San Francisco quarterback Brock Purdy, tight end George Kittle and running back Isaac Guerendo. It interfered with the subsequent interview.

As Stark was asking Purdy his first question, Bosa could be seen walking into the frame adjusting his MAGA hat behind the group. The 2022 Defensive Player of the Year then stuck his head between Stark and Purdy and pointed at his hat a few times before running off.

Later, in the post-match press conference, Bosa changed into a different hat and refused to answer questions about the stunt.

“I’m not going to talk about it too much,” the four-time Pro Bowler said. “But I think this is an important time.”

NFL rules state that on game days, “players may not wear or display any written or illustrated personal message while in the stadium or visible to television viewers unless approved in advance by league officials.” or otherwise communicate private messages.” ”, including “during postgame interviews in the locker room or on the field.”

According to the league’s collective bargaining agreement with the NFL Players Association, first-time offenders of the private message rule could be fined $11,255. Brian McCarthy, NFL vice president of communications, told the Times in an email that there is “no update” on whether Bosa will be fined.

Mr Botha was asked on Wednesday whether he was aware of the potential fine before taking action.

“Yes,” he answered. “Yes, it was worth it.”

When asked why he felt he had to do this, Botha replied: Obviously the people spoke and we got what we got. ”

Bosa has long publicly expressed support for Trump. When the former Ohio State star was selected by the 49ers with the second overall pick in the 2019 draft, President Trump tweeted his congratulations.

“Always be true to yourself,” President Trump wrote. “Let’s make America great again!”

Congratulations to Nick Bosa for being selected No. 2 in the NFL draft. You’re going to be a great player for years to come, probably one of the best. Big talent! San Francisco accepts you, but most importantly, always stay true to yourself. Let’s Make America Great Again!
