Non-US citizens in New Hampshire have been charged with illegal voting in several elections, including the 2024 presidential and general elections.
According to a statement from the New Hampshire Department of Justice, Naseef Bryan, who lives in Manchester, New Hampshire, has been arrested and charged with three illegal votes. He is said to have purposely voted illegally in the local Manchester election in 2023 and the 2024 presidential election and general.
If convicted, he faces fines of up to $4,000 for three and a half to seven years in a New Hampshire prison.
He will be arrested in August at the 9th Circuit of the Manchester District Division.

New Hampshire outlet NHPR reported that Brian is a 34-year-old immigrant and, according to legal filings, is a permanent US resident from Jamaica.
The outlet reported that Brian has a long history of filing dozens of lawsuits against numerous government agencies and individuals, including his local police department, Community College in Concord, and the US Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS).
Brian has previously sued USCIS twice, but according to the outlet, his complaints are unclear because they are “ambiguous and included.”[ing] In one submission to USCIS, the NHPR writes that Brian refers to Maritime Act and demands relief in the form of gold coins.

The Republican-backed law passed in 2024 requires those who register to vote in New Hampshire to present evidence of US citizenship. According to a New Hampshire bulletin, the voting bill was signed into law in September, but it didn’t come into effect until days after the 2024 presidential election.
Former Vice President Kamala Harris narrowly won four New Hampshire election college votes against President Donald Trump with 50% to 48% of votes. However, Republicans have controlled both houses of the state legislature and both the Commerce Department since 2021.
Brian’s arrest comes as concerns arise for non-citizens over the rise in illegal voting nationwide.
In Texas, Republican Attorney General Ken Paxton recently launched a survey of more than 100 potential non-citizens who allegedly voted at least 200 in the 2020 and 2022 election cycles.

The majority of illegal votes cast by potential non-citizens were in Harris County, but Paxton’s office is also investigating possible cases using information from Guadalupe, Cameron and Eastland counties, according to a news release.

The discovery was made possible by an executive order signed by Trump, directing the Department of Homeland Security to provide the state with a save database of U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services.
New York Democrat Yvette Clark recently raised an alarm when she proposed in a re-encrypted video that immigration was needed to bolster the district’s figures, saying it was necessary “to rezone.”
