Citing law enforcement sources, TMZ reported that Delaney and her partner had become physically altered. LASD officials confirmed with KTLA that there was a domestic obstruction call that took place on Saturday morning.
“After an investigation by lawmakers, Mrs. Kim Delaney was arrested for a fatal weapon attack and James Morgan was arrested for a battery,” a statement from the KTLA.
Delaney, 65, was scheduled to appear in court Tuesday morning.
However, later that day, the DA’s office confirmed that the claims were not pursued due to “inadequate evidence.”
Delaney played Det. Diane Russell from ABC’s “NYPD Blue” between 1995 and 2003 for each IMDB. Over the course of the series, she was nominated by Emmy three times (1997, 1998, 1999) and won in 1997 with a standout support actress in the drama series.
