Authorities are looking for inmates who fled the Los Angeles County facility on Friday night.
According to the California Department of Amendments and Rehabilitation, 26-year-old Desun R. Daniels was serving a sentence at a male community re-entry program facility when he fled around 7:45pm.
Authorities were warned that he had tampered with an ankle monitor. After searching the building and grounds, he was nowhere to be found.
Deshon R. Daniels, 26, can be seen in booking photos from the Department of Correctional and Rehabilitation in California.
Daniels is 6 feet 2 inches tall and weighs 202 pounds. He has brown eyes and dark hair.
He was sentenced to 15 years in prison for two counts of robbery, two times due to his enhanced use of firearms.
Authorities with CDCR and local law enforcement have been notified and assisted in searching. It is unknown where he is heading.
Anyone who has seen Daniels or knows where he is will be asked to call local law enforcement immediately or simply dial 911.
The male community reentry program allows eligible offenders to make it easier to transition from custody to community to commit to state prisons and serve the end of sentences at reentry centres. This is a voluntary program for female offenders left to serve within two years.
CDCR officials said 99% of those imprisoned who fled or left adult facilities, camps or facilities have been arrested.
