A 41-year-old woman was taken into custody on suspicion of stabbing a man to death at a Pasadena home, police said Friday.
According to the Pasadena Police Department, just after 12:30 a.m. Thursday, authorities responded to the 200 block of East Orange Grove Boulevard near Marengo Street for an unresponsive man with multiple stab wounds.
Pasadena Fire Department paramedics attempted lifesaving measures but later pronounced 38-year-old Corey Davis dead at the scene. Chante Ferguson, of Upland, was arrested and booked into the Pasadena Police Department Jail on suspicion of murder, resisting arrest and two other undisclosed misdemeanor charges.
Police took a second woman into custody, but it is unclear whether she was arrested or charged with any crime. The motive for the stabbing remains unclear, and investigators continued to investigate Friday night.
