Authorities say one person has been killed and four others were injured after the plane struck another on the ground near Scottsdale airport in Arizona on Monday.
“We left the runway” crash was reported at 2:39pm, with the first responder discovering that one person had died upon arrival, said Dave Folio, Captain Scottsdale Fire. Ta.
The other four were injured. These include two people who were taken to a medical facility in a critical condition, and the fourth person who refused treatment at the scene who had been delayed but were not given the condition, the captain said. Ta.

Airport spokesman Kelly Quester said at a press conference that one of the two sets of main landing equipment on the arriving plane failed during landing, causing an “injury” to “stricken.”
The plane arrived from Austin, she said.
The Federal Aviation Administration said the Learjet 35A was off the runway after landing and struck a business jet on Gulfstream 200.
Worrick Robinson IV, lawyer for Vince Neil, frontman for Nashville, Tennessee-based Mötley Crüe, said in a statement that the plane crashed on landing belonged to a singer who was not on board. Robinson had no further details as to who else was on the private jet, but he said he was only carrying two pilots and two passengers.
“He is grateful for the critical support of all first responders today,” Robinson said, referring to Neal.
Scottsdale-based company Jet Pro chartering private jets, but in a statement said the plane struck by the company belongs to the company. Gulfstream said no one was injured.
“External damage was maintained on the aircraft,” the company said.
Quester said the jet struck by the arriving plane was “parked on private property” adjacent to the facility.
Flights at the airport have been suspended, according to the FAA, the incident was under investigation. Scottsdale Airport issued a statement to X at 7:38pm that the facility had reopened.
The investigation was only just beginning, and Folio said it could not answer questions about the conflict.
“This is still an active scene,” he said.
