Actor Paul Teale, known for his roles in “One Tree Hill” and “Deep Water,” has passed away, his loved ones and co-stars announced on social media.
Thiel passed away on Friday, his partner and fellow actor Emilia Torello announced on Instagram. He was 35 years old.
“Paul, you were my soulmate, my soon-to-be husband, my rock, my future. You filled my lungs with laughter, my stomach with butterflies, and my Filled my heart with love. You were taken too soon. A battle you were sure to fight bravely,” she wrote.
The cause of death was not immediately released.
Thiel played Josh on the seventh season of “One Tree Hill.” Sophia Bush, who starred in the successful teen drama series, said she was “incredibly sad” to hear the news. “He is such a talented guy,” she wrote on her Instagram Story.
Bethany Joy Lentz, who played Haley James Scott on One Tree Hill and collaborated with Thiel on the musical production of The Notebook, also paid tribute online.
“My heart is heavy. Paul Thiel was the kind of person who could light up a room without trying. His bright smile, infectious laugh, and kind heart made you want to be around him. I did,” she wrote.
Thiel’s acting credits also include appearing in the 2022 film “Deep Water,” starring Ben Affleck and Ana de Armas.
