One person was killed and three others were hospitalized after a multi-vehicle collision in Carson on Friday night.
Los Angeles County Sheriff’s deputies responded to a crash on Figueroa and Sepulveda Boulevards just after 4pm.
Four vehicles were involved in a fatal collision. One of the vehicles was moving south on Figueroa Street when it hit three other cars near the intersection.

The photographs of the scene are causing significant damage to all vehicles, including those completely destroyed and broken.
One was declared dead by paramedics who arrived at the scene. Three other people were taken to hospital under unknown conditions. A fourth person was treated at the scene and released.
It is unknown what prompted the crash and what the circumstances surrounding the incident remained during investigation. The victim’s identity has not been disclosed.
