The University of Miami University’s outstanding college athlete was caught in a clash over the weekend when he killed three people, including two children, over the weekend, according to multiple media reports.
Miami Hurricane linebacker, 20-year-old Addarius Hayes, was reportedly involved in a two-vehicle accident on May 11, about 1:45pm, about 15 north of St. Petersburg, about 15 miles east of his hometown of Largo, Florida, and 15th north of St. Petersburg.
Behind the wheels of a Dodge Durango, Hayes is said to have hit Kia with four residents turning left in front of the truck.
Two children, 10-year-old Jabari Elijah Solomon, and 4-year-old Charlie Herbert Solomon Rivera, were declared dead at the scene. The 78-year-old Gail Price driver was injured in a hospital on Sunday, according to CBS News.

Herbert Trivela, 58, who is in Kia’s passenger seat, was rushed to the hospital with serious injuries, but Hayes was admitted to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.
Investigators told CBS News that alcohol and drugs do not appear to be the cause of the crash, and that investigations are underway to determine the exact cause of the crash.
So far, the Largo Police Station authorities have not filed criminal charges.
According to the UM Athletics website, Hayes was one of the top-ranked linebackers in the country and was considered a four-star outlook for all major scouting services.
The 20-year-old has chosen to join UM from Florida, Alabama, Florida, Michigan and Notre Dame.
