More than 100 Joan stores are preparing to close their doors forever on Monday, months after filing for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection.
The January filing marked Joan’s second such move in less than a year. Initially, the Ohio-based company said it had planned to close around 530 shortages of stores. Then, in February, the retailer announced that all stores would be closed after the GA Joann Retail Partnership, which consists of the Financial Services Company GA Group and Joann term renders.
Several Joan stores across the country have already been closed this month, a spokesman confirmed to Nexstar. Another 112 will end on Monday. You can find the locations listed by state in the table below.
! function() {“strict”; window.addeventlistener(“message”,(function(a){if(void 0!== a.data[“datawrapper-height”]){var e = document.queryselectorall(“iframe”); for(var t in a.data[“datawrapper-height”])(var r, i = 0; r = e[i];i ++) if(r.contentwindow === a.source) {var d = a.data[“datawrapper-height”][t]+”px”; r.style.height = d}}})}();
They will be participating in more than 140 Joan stores that closed earlier this month, including two dozen, which marked the final day on Sunday.
Listed below are the already closed Joan stores.

The remaining Joan stores are over 500 and are on track by the end of May.
If you’re interested in shopping for Joan’s closed sales, I recommend you shop in the store. The company is warning against fake websites disguised as Joan’s, which have been pop-up since it filed for bankruptcy.
“Buy in-store only,” the company said in a social media post earlier this month. “Joann.com allows you to browse the catalogue and find the closest store, but there is no online shopping during liquidation. Beware of fraudulent websites!”
Joan is the latest national brand for participating in Party City, Jack in the Box, Big Lot and Advanced Auto Parts to shutter hundreds of brick and mortar locations.
However, some large lot shops have comebacks. After filing for Chapter 11 bankruptcy last year, Biglot announced that it would close hundreds of stores and begin “closed business” sales in December. Then, in February, court documents suggested that hundreds of large lot shops could remain open under various wholesalers. Several locations like this opened this month, with the pace opening in May.
