The Fullerton Police Department says it has been “active” for officials who have responded to “various incidents” over the past few days and have had to arrest more than three dozen people.
A massive breakthrough has been made in multiple investigations, including car robbery leading to the recovery of stolen guns, vandalism cases pursuing feet, drug seizures and even traffic stops that lead to statue theft, according to an Instagram post from Fullerton Police.
The video included in the post shows body cam footage of two of the four cases mentioned above, gun recovery and vandalism pursuit.
Car Robbery and Firearm Recovery
FPD says several items, including guns, have responded to reports of robbery in a car where they were stolen. A preliminary investigation into the case pointed out that the suspect was staying at a local motel, and detectives were able to find the suspect and the stolen item. Firearms were also on display, police said.

Vandalism and the pursuit of feet
Officers were called to investigate vandalism reports in the Lemon Street and Valley View Drive area near Hillcrest Park.
The suspect escaped on foot and tried to escape, but was taken into custody after a short leg pursuit, FPD said.

Videos included in the post show the male suspect being tackled on the ground and handcuffed. Authorities did not disclose any charges the man could face.
The incident occurred “in the evening” the same day as the robbery of a car, police said.
Drugs, firearm attacks during traffic stop
In the incident, which took place on the same day as “minimums after the foot tracking,” officers had traffic stops near Orange Thorpe and Magnolia Avenue.
According to an Instagram post, officers discovered a loaded firearm and illegal drugs inside the vehicle.
An unidentified driver of the vehicle was booked on multiple felony and misdemeanor charges.
Statues’ grand robbery
Fullerton police also received and reported theft reports, including statues taken from local residences.
“Officers quickly developed leads, which led to a recovery of the statue, which was returned to the legitimate owner,” FPD said.
