Over $316 million in illegal marijuana has been seized by California authorities during the recent statewide crackdown.
The operation covers illegal cannabis markets in multiple counties from January 1 to March 31, according to the California Governor’s Office.
The notable findings were due to the integrated efforts of the Governor’s Unified Cannabis Enforcement Task Force (UCETF), the California Department of Fish and Wildlife (DFW), and the Bureau of Cannabis Control (DCC).
During crackdowns, authorities discovered:
212,681 Illegal Cannabis Plants 120,307 pounds of illegal cannabis $474,462 Cash seized 35 firearms
Authorities also served 99 warrants and arrested 29 suspects.
“This task force continues to make impressive progress that disrupts illegal cannabis operators and their supply chains,” said Nathaniel Arnold, director of law enforcement at CDFW.

Unauthorized Cannabis 19 Search Warrants worth $67,258,232 77,923 illegal cannabis plants eradicated 40,747 pounds of illegal cannabis.
California Department of Fish and Wildlife (CDFW) enforcement efforts include:
47 search warrants 101,473 illegal plants have been eradicated by $97,476,308 worth of illegal cannabis
Working with Cannabis Control (DCC) includes:
33 warrants seized illegal cannabis worth $151,752,966 eradicated 71,220 pounds of illegal cannabis that have eradicated 33,285 cases of illegal plants
DCC Law Enforcement Director Bill Jones said: “By quickly dismantling illegal operations ahead of the threat, we provide a commitment to increasing the costs of doing business for bad actors and protecting the California community and legal industries.”
In a previous announcement on illegal cannabis crackdowns, Gov. Gavin Newsom said, “California is taking immediate and aggressive actions to stop illegal cannabis and strengthen the rapidly growing legal market across the state. By shutting down illegal cultivation sites and applying serious consequences to criminals, we are registering criminal organizations with the California market.
