In the aftermath of the Palisade Fire, a seawater advisory is in place for the Los Angeles County coastline a few miles.
The consultation will continue until the announcement from the Los Angeles County Department of Public Health is issued between Las Flores Beach and Santa Monica State Beach.
Beach visitors can stay on the sand, but were advised to stay away from fire debris and the ocean.
The department also issued the following non-fire-related beach area warnings for bacteria levels exceeding health standards when it was last tested.
