Authorities say the accomplice of Palm Springs bomber Edward Bartos died Tuesday at the Los Angeles prison.
Daniel Park, 32, was found to be unresponsive at his cells at the Metropolitan Detention Center (MDC) in downtown Los Angeles around 7:30 a.m., according to a release from the U.S. Prison Bureau.
The prison staff responded and immediately began lifesaving measures, but the park was declared dead after being taken to a local hospital.
The cause of death has not been revealed.

Both the FBI and the US Former service were notified of Park’s death. According to the release of the Prison Bureau, other prison employees and inmates were not injured and the public was never in danger.
Park arrived at the Metropolitan Detention Center on June 13 after being charged with malicious destruction of the property.
He is said to be the co-conspirator of Bartkus, who exploded a bomb outside the American reproductive center in Palm Springs on May 17th.

Bartkus, 25, was the only fatality of the bombing, but several individuals were injured. The explosion destroyed the reproductive health facility but did not harm the reproductive material stored inside.

The Seattle area native was arrested at John F. Kennedy International Airport in New York, where he returned from Poland on June 4, federal officials said.
He is said to have fed Bathos 270 pounds of ammonium nitrate, a compound used in explosives.
Authorities believe that both men share an extremist ideology that people should not be born without consent.
