A former Palmdale Parks department employee has reportedly been 12 times after a federal charge that allegedly forced a teenager to have sex with him and send child porn to two teens. Faced with count.
Darius Des Edwards, 21, of Palmdale, has been charged with two counts of producing child pornography, five counts of child pornography, and seduction of minors engaged in criminal sexual activity. There is, the U.S. Department of Justice said. News release.
According to prosecutors, Edwards “had been engaged in sexual conversation with a 16-year-old girl at the time, demanding that she be produced and shared her own Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM). “Edwards received at least one photo and three videos from this victim who portrayed CSAM,” the release said.
If convicted, Edwards will be entitled to five years in federal prison for each count of receipt of child porn, 15 years for every 15 years for child porn production, 15 years for criminal sexual activity. Each temptation faces a mandatory minimum sentence of 10 years.
If convicted on all counts, it is sentenced to a total of 120 years, but the induction charge carries a sentence as high as life in prison.
