By Tuesday, stuffed animals, candles, balloon notes, flowers and other items were left in the memory of a child identified by her grandfather as five-year-old Yelya Anthony Hearn.
“He had autism, but that didn’t slow him down,” Hahn Sr. said. “He could pick up your phone and go through it, every tablet. His speech was slow, but he understood and he loved it.”
Troy Hearn Sr. said Gaddis is his daughter’s estranged boyfriend and not Elijah’s father.
