Thrill-seekers at Knott’s Berry Farm were unexpectedly stranded on a theme park ride for more than two hours Monday afternoon.
Sky5’s video showed what appears to be a Sol Spin, which flies riders six stories into the air as they spin independently on one of six rotating arms.
“Sol Spin is a high-speed spinning vehicle that spins riders in three directions simultaneously. Riders riding in a free-spinning, floorless gondola are suspended and inverted above the ground, making them feel like they are in mid-air. Get the real feel,” says the ride’s information page.
