Last month, Kansas City-area homes owned by Chiefs stars Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce were broken into and robbed every few hours, according to authorities and media reports.
According to a Cass County Sheriff’s Office incident summary, shortly after midnight on October 6, officers were dispatched to Mahomes’ home in Belton, Missouri, about 45 miles south of Kansas City.
The three-time Super Bowl champion quarterback is not identified by name in the report, but the address listed in the report matches Mahomes’ public records. The report does not say whether anything was filmed.
Representatives for Mahomes did not respond to requests for comment.
It is unclear whether authorities have identified a suspect. A spokesperson for the Cass County Sheriff’s Office declined further comment, noting the matter is an active investigation.
The alleged crime was first reported by TMZ, which reported that the next day, at 7:33 p.m., the suspect broke into Kelce’s home in Leawood, Kansas, about 10 miles north.
The newspaper reported, citing a police report, that $20,000 in cash was taken from the home.
A Leawood Police Department spokesperson said the department only comments on homicides and fatal crashes. A spokesperson showed NBC News a map showing when and where 911 calls were made in the city.
On Oct. 8, someone reported a burglary at a home on Kelce’s block, according to call records.
Representatives for the three-time Super Bowl-winning tight end did not respond to requests for comment.
