Senator Rand Paul announced Monday that he would revive the criminal referral to Dr. Anthony Forsey, adding yet another wrinkle to the ongoing Biden White House autopen saga.

“Today, I’m reissuing Anthony Fauci’s crime introduction to Trump Doge,” Paul said in X.

It is not the first time Paul has issued a criminal referral to Fauci, former director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID) and medical advisor to former President Joe Biden.

Chief of Staff Biden reportedly approved the autopen pardon on the last day.

Senator Rand Paul, R-KY. is in talks with U.S. Capitol reporters after the House passed one big beautiful bill law on Thursday, May 22, 2025 (Tom Williams/CQ-Roll Call, Inc.)

The first came in 2021 when Paul accused Congress of lying to fund the Covid-19 virus funding at the Woohan Virus Institute. Next came again in 2023 as part of Paul’s efforts to investigate the origins of the virus.

“Perjury is a crime,” Paul said. “And the enemy must take responsibility.”

Fox News Digital has reached out to Paul’s office for comment.

“President’s incompetence”: Senate Republicans seek a paper path to Biden’s autopen use

This time, Paul’s re-publishing of crime introductions comes after a new report adds another chapter to the ongoing Autopensaga. There, President Donald Trump and Congressional Republicans accused Biden of shrugging his White House aides and top officials, and accusing him of approving his signature on the murder of the accuser and documents.

The New York Times reported that Biden Chief Jeff Sient has given him final approval for using an autopen for the preemptive responsibility of two Trump’s top critics, Faussy and former co-director General Mark Millie.

Senate hearing on who is “really running” begins Wednesday

Biden signed most of more than 4,000 tolerant documents in the months of his presidency, with Trump and Congressional Republicans struck by the former president’s cognitive abilities and claims that his staff were running the White House.

Trump has gone on to demand that Attorney General Pam Bondy open an investigation into Biden’s use of autopensions, but Republicans in the Senate and House are all holding committee hearings on the issue.

And early on Monday, Trump told reporters that Biden’s allegations of autopen use had reached “one of the biggest scandals we’ve had in 50-100 years.”

“I assure you that he didn’t know anything about what he was signing, I assure you,” Trump said.
