After weeks of immigration and customs enforcement raids and protests, people riding from Paramount to Compton to support immigrants led a peaceful show of unity. Hoobes echoed the streets, flags waving high, and members of the southeastern Los Angeles cowboy community added on Sunday on a three-mile unity ride to Compton City Hall. Dozens of riders on horseback led the protest. They held the signs and rang their supporters on foot and in the car. Paramount was chosen as the starting point as it was the site of the protests first erupted in early June after federal agents were found in the staging area near Home Depot.
Riders will pass the US Marines stationed across the Paramount Home Depot during human rights unity in Compton on Sunday as an ongoing ice attacks take place throughout the Los Angeles area.
