After a collision with Harley-Davidson, Minor on a “pocket bike” left a motorcycle rider who was seriously injured in Palmdale earlier this week.
Lawmakers responded to a crash on 20th Avenue East near Avenue L-8 before 9pm Tuesday.
Investigators believe the male boy was riding a pocket bike northeasterly across the northeast lane towards 20th Avenue, while the Harley-Davidson man was riding northeasterly on 20th Avenue east approaching Avenue L-8.
“The motorcycle attacked a pocket bike that was not stuck with headlights or taillights in the northbound lanes of the trip,” the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department said.
The Sheriff’s Department said the unidentified juvenile died at the scene of injuries.
The motorcycle rider was seriously injured and was taken to a nearby hospital.
The Sheriff’s Office continues to investigate crashes.
