The Los Angeles Police Department is searching for a hit-and-run driver who has been seriously injured in the process as he attacks the man in a wheelchair across Park Street at the Expo.
The collision occurred around 6:20pm on January 11, as the victim, a man in his 60s whose identity was not released, crossed Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard on Dalton Avenue in a wheelchair, police said in a news release. I stated.
The video shared by LAPD shows a small, dark-colored SUV in two lanes trying to turn around a wheelchair, continuing MLK Boulevard without a stop. Police say the SUV turned Harvard Boulevard south.
The man is taken to a local hospital where he is in intensive care.

Police also remind pedestrians to “take caution when crossing roads, following traffic lights, crossing prominent crossings and following road rules.”
