Those allegedly stolen semi trucks and led police after chasing multiple Southern California counties overnight were taken into custody.
According to a CHP spokesman, El Monte Police Station officials requested help in the pursuit around 12:36am on Wednesday. The exact location within El Monte, where the pursuit began, was not immediately known, but authorities believe it began near the exchange of 60 and 605 highways.

The spokesman also said they were unable to confirm which road the suspect took during the pursuit, but that they drove a large rig into San Bernardino County. Video obtained by KTLA shows tracks spinning recklessly in every lane of the truck.

According to a spokesperson, the pursuit ended at the eastbound 210 highway off-ramp in San Bernardino city just before 3am.

No information has been released surrounding the suspect’s identity or the charges he may be facing, and no injuries have been reported.
